Patricia Choux, Perfumer at MANE, and parent at The Ecole will meet our 7th and 8th graders on Monday, December 13, as part of our World of Work program.
First, she will answer students’ questions about her job as a « nez » and how she creates fragrances for local and international brands. She will also explain how natural products are gathered using sustainable methods, working with local populations all over the world, and respecting the environment.
For the second part, Patricia will organize an « atelier de parfumerie » for our students: she will bring several fragrances and ask them to explain what do their feel, see and picture for each essence.
Then each student will have the opportunity to create their own perfume, making a selection of the most inspiring essences… and bring their individual flacon at home.
