Jardin Pédagogique

Starting Wednesday, May 11, Maternelle classes will be working together on a Jardin Pédagogique. This collaborative project will run for 5 weeks, with the aim of planting, tending to, and harvesting an edible garden on the 206 rooftop. Kristina Ramos, a Chef Educator & Programs Coordinator for Chefs for Impact, will be visiting every Wednesday to lead sessions for the Nursery, Pre-K, and Kindergarten students. There will be a different topic each week (Garden 101, Herbs/Pollinators, Leafy Greens, Colors of the Garden, Vegetables & Fruits) and the student groups will be designed so that there are kids from each class mixed into every group.
