The Back Onsite Committee, composed of parents, teachers, staff and administration, has been working on our Back Onsite Plan the past couple months, taking into consideration all the requirements and guidelines from CDC, NYS and NYC as well as the DOE. Some actions have been added in order to go even beyond the given guidelines and to ensure a safe, healthy and overall good experience for our students, their families and for our teachers and staff.

The Committee has identified the eight below categories to work on:

  1. Personal Protection Equipment
  2. Building Circulation
  3. Gatherings
  4. Cleaning Procedures
  5. Medical
  6. Classroom
  7. Building Facilities
  8. Well-Being

For each category, the Committee created a long list of all possible actions to take, and they then selected the appropriate actions according to three criteria:

  • Priority
  • Effectiveness
  • Practicality

All the actions that have been retained by the Committee, and that the school will implement, have been included in the Back Onsite Plan.

The Committee has submitted this plan to the Department of Education and the Department of Health.

You will find below the action plan our school will implement to be fully onsite as of September 1st.
