The École offers a wide range of After-School activities for students from Nursery through 8th Grade, led by a mix of The École faculty and trusted partner organizations, such as Togetherhood, FFF, Cinemakidz, The Tutorverse, and others. Each activity is carefully designed to support the developmental stages of our Maternelle, Elementary, and Middle School students, while complementing the learning that takes place during the school day.
For Pre-Nursery students, The École provides a daily aftercare service in the Pre-Nursery learning space until 5:00 p.m. This program focuses on calm, structured care tailored to the needs of our youngest learners.
Semester Dates & Registration Timeline
- The After-School brochure for Semester 1, including the full list of activities, schedules, and fees, is available on our website.
- Registration for Semester 1 opens via the Focus platform on Monday, July 14 at 12:00 p.m. (EDT) and closes on Wednesday, September 3 at 8:00 p.m.
- We strongly recommend registering as soon as the portal opens, as many activities fill up quickly.

- Semester 2: Monday, January 26 to Thursday, June 18, 2026
After-School Procedures
At dismissal, school staff escort enrolled students to their assigned After-School meeting point, where they are welcomed by the After-School instructors. Before beginning their activity, students receive a snack provided by the After-School team. Families may also send a snack from home, but all home snacks must be nut-free, candy-free, and gum-free.
If a student is enrolled in multiple activities on the same day, the After-School team ensures smooth and safe transitions between activities.
Pick-Up Procedures
- Maternelle families will pick up their children at designated meeting points, which will be clearly posted in the Maternelle Building.
- Elementary and Middle School students go to the lobby after their activities:
Parents and caregivers must sign students out on the iPads located in the lobby once they have picked up their child.
Middle School students may leave school independently after After-School activities if their parents have completed the Arrival/Departure Form on Focus.
