To see and experience the world twice over. To constantly seek deeper understanding and broader knowledge. To be able to choose any path they desire. These are the objectives we strive to instill in our students through our bilingual IB High School program, while ensuring each student is prepared for success at university and in the global workforce.

Our High School program, developed in partnership with Léman Manhattan, is an extension of The École’s French-American dual curriculum in 9th and 10th grade and transitions to a bilingual IB diploma program in 11th and 12th. The IB diploma is recognized as one of the strongest college preparatory programs worldwide and is an impressive qualification for college applicants. Léman High School with The École provides a rigorous curriculum for high school students interested in pursuing a dual-language French program. Students enrolled in the program have the benefit of all the resources Léman has to offer, including a robust literature, mathematics, science, social studies, arts, and athletics high school curriculum, with the added advantage of electives taught in French by The École teachers.

Agile minds

Making connections

In continuity withThe École dual-language curriculum, our high school program with Léman, cultivates globally-minded, principled thinkers through the IB approach to learning. The IB focuses on building knowledge, skills, and independent critical and creative thought to help students make connections between areas of study, in a similar way our students were immersed over their years at The École in not just two languages, but two learning systems, gifting them with multiple perspectives, approaches, and tools.

Open hearts

Leadership and Service

Strengthened by their bilingual academic and cultural experience, and capable of creating connections with people from different backgrounds, young adults enrollled in our program are challenged to participate in leadership-building activities across the school and their communities to prepare for being world citizens of the 21st century. Léman High School with The École is an innovative and dynamic place where students are agents of change and demonstrate a commitment to service and sense of purpose.

Bright futures

Each student, future prepared

The IB Diploma Program is an academically challenging, in-depth, creative curriculum that prepares students for success in university life and beyond. It is recognized as the worldwide gold standard for academic excellence and a sought-after credential by top colleges and universities. Léman High School with The École not only prepares students for the IB Diploma, but adds the French-American language and culture proficiency that ensure our students stand apart and are fully equipped to choose and succeed in the next path they take.
