Mayor Mamdani has announced that New York City schools will be closed on Monday, February 23, due to the blizzard warning currently in effect. In light of this decision—and given that this nor’easter is expected to bring severe conditions—The École will also be closed.
This is an exceptional closure and a precautionary measure. Forecasts indicate heavy snowfall and dangerous winds, making commuting on Monday morning extremely hazardous. The safety of our students, families, and staff is our foremost priority.
All classes, school, and after-school activities scheduled for Monday are therefore canceled.
