Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs) take place twice a year. Ideally, we would like parents/guardians to come to school to meet their children’s teachers in person so they can see their child’s work and class environment. If it is not possible for parents/guardians to attend the PTCs in person, online options may be offered.
Appointments for the PTCs will open on Monday, October 19, and on Monday, February 22. The links to make the appointments will be shared in the Monday Memos on those days. Parents/guardians can also schedule meetings with teacher(s) at other moments during the school year. Please request an appointment with the relevant teacher(s) by email (see the Family Handbook for teachers’ email addresses).
Maternelle PTCs
Maternelle PTCs will take place on Monday, November 16, and Monday, March 29. There is no school, After-School, or aftercare on those days for Maternelle students. The Maternelle School Life Assistants (SLAs) will supervise children on the 5th floor during the time slot of their parent-teacher conference.
The After-School Team will organize a one-day camp on Monday, November 16 and Monday, March 29 at the Elementary & Middle School Building for Nursery to Kindergarten students.
Elementary PTCs
The first Elementary PTCs will take place from 1 p.m. on Friday, November 13, and all day on Monday, November 16. The second Elementary PTCs will take place from 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, and all day on Monday, March 29. Elementary students will be dismissed early on Friday, November 13, and Thursday, March 25 due to the PTCs. 1st & 2nd Grade students will be dismissed at 11:55 a.m. 3rd & 4th Grade students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. and 5th Grade at 12:05 p.m. Children who ride the school bus will catch it at 12 p.m. on both days. There will be no After-School or aftercare for Elementary students on Friday, November 13, Monday, November 16, Thursday, March 25, or Monday, March 29.
Please note that the Next Steps meeting: Introduction to Middle School for Maternelle & Elementary Parents will take place on Monday, November 16, from 8:30 a.m. in the MPR of the Elementary & Middle School Building.
Elementary students can visit the Scholastic book fair in the library while their parents/guardians are meeting their teachers.
The After-School Team will organize a one-day camp on Monday, November 16 and Monday, March 29 at the Elementary & Middle School Building for 1st to 5th Grade students.
Middle School PSTCs
The Middle School Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences take place all day on Friday, November 13, Monday, November 16, Thursday, March 25, and Monday, March 29. Middle School parents/guardians have the opportunity to meet all the Middle School and specialist teachers (up to 14 different teachers!). There is no school, After-School, or aftercare for Middle School students on those days. Middle School students attend the PTCs with their parents/guardians.
