Each semester The École offers a different set of after-school Academic & Character, Art & Music, Sports & Fitness, and Science & Technology activities, selected based on student and parent interest. Led either by one of our own teaching staff, or by a specialist partner organization—such as Soccer Shots, TekIntellect, and Tennis Innovators—each is designed to align with the particular developmental levels of our Maternelle, Elementary, and Middle School students, building off the work they are doing in their everyday classrooms.

At The École, we’re particularly proud of some unique options we’ve introduced for students in the 5th grade and above, such as The École Radio, that allow students to explore particular areas of creative and scientific interest. They also encourage our older students to take on confidence-building leadership roles, educating and informing the younger grades about events that make our school special and the caring community values we share.

And of course, we can’t forget The École Falcons, our Elementary and Middle School soccer team! The Falcons provide an opportunity not only to build our students’ athletic skills and sportsmanship, their regular scrimmages and exhibition games against other New York City schools give our entire community—staff, students, and families— a great reason to come out together and cheer.

In addition to our after-school activities, to accommodate our families’ busy schedules, The École also offers Daycare for Maternelle students and Study Hall for Elementary and Middle School students in the event they need to stay at school beyond regular hours.
