Each semester, The École offers a carefully curated set of after-school activities, selected based on student and parent interest. Activities fall into four categories: Mind & Learning, Art & Craft, Movement & Sport, and Imagine & Explore.
Led by members of our own teaching staff or by specialist partner organizations — including FFF Academy, The Coder School, Court 16, Togetherhood, CinemaKidz, Brooklyn Robot Foundry, and many others — each activity is designed to match the developmental stage of our Maternelle, Elementary, and Middle School students, building on the work they do every day in the classroom.
At The École, we take particular pride in the originality and depth of our program. From La Cuisine de Judy and Les Apprentis du Goût to KidzArchitects, Tricomania, Judo, Capoeira, and Swimming at Léman for our Elementary & Middle School students — every activity is chosen to spark something real.

Students depart from The École at 3:55 p.m. with our School Life Assistants and return by 6:00 p.m., or families may choose to pick up directly at Court 16.
Please register for the level and day that corresponds to your child’s grade next year and current tennis level. If you are unsure, feel free to reach out to afterschool@theEcole.org: we will be happy to advise.

Programs
Mind & Learning
From the very first spark of curiosity to the final push before a high-stakes exam, our Mind & Learning activities meet students exactly where they are. In a relaxed, after-school setting, younger students discover new ways to think, reason, and express themselves. Older students sharpen their edge — deepening language fluency, strengthening critical thinking, and building the confidence to tackle whatever comes next.
- Public Speech, Math World, Les Apprentis du Goût,
- Language Classes: Arabic, Italian, Mandarin, Spanish, Russian,
- Study Hall, SHSAT Enrichment, ISEE Test Prep,
- Mythologie Viking & Grecque, Chess, Coding…
Art & Craft
There is no single way to be creative — and our Art & Craft activities celebrate that. Little ones paint, sculpt, draw, sing, dance, and step onto the stage for the first time. Older students find their own artistic voice: mastering an instrument, writing and performing their own theatre pieces, producing a Broadway musical, or expressing themselves through graffiti art, fashion design, and film. From the very first brushstroke to the final curtain call, these activities give every student the space and freedom to create.
- Little Artists, Éveil Théâtral, Intro to Ballet, Jazz Dance,
- Agile Argile, Japanese Origamis, Knitting & Crocheting,
- DJ Music Mix, Broadway Musical, Théâtre Impro’,
- Graffiti Writers, Tricomania, De Fil en Aiguille…
Movement & Sport
Individual and group Movement & Sport activities ensure we’re teaching students how to keep their bodies and minds healthy and strong—and how to keep competition fair and friendly. For our older students, Movement & Sport activities focus both on individual skill-building and group team-building. This helps them become more confident athletes when facing more competitive situations.
- Judo, Swimming Classes, Team Sports, Tennis,
- Capoeira, Gymnastics, Parkour Gym, Intro to Taekwondo,
- FFF Indoors Soccer, Fencing, Dance, Momentum Athletics,
- Ping Pong, Pickleball, Yoga, Gravity Gym, Jump Rope…
Imagine & Explore
Some of the best learning happens when you stop following the rules and start making them up. Our Imagine & Explore activities give students the freedom to build, invent, cook, code, design, and discover — following their curiosity wherever it leads. Younger students construct their first robots, grow their first plants, and dream up entire worlds. Older students take on bigger challenges: launching a business idea, engineering architectural masterpieces, or cracking the mysteries of science through hands-on experimentation. No textbooks required.
- Lego & Construction Games, Robot Rookies, Mini Animators,
- World Building 101, Little Ecologists, La Cuisine de Judy,
- Kidz Architects, Jeux de Rôle, Club STEAM, Kidpreneur x Frencfounders,
- Weird Science Television, Cooking, Food Detective…
Schedules and Fees
The first-semester activities begin on Monday, September 14, 2026, and end on Friday, January 22, 2027.
This semester, we’re proud to offer 110 different activities — 48 at our Maternelle building and 64 at our Elementary & Middle School building.
While we continue to feature our most popular classes — such as swimming, judo, capoeira, taekwondo, parkour, Gravity Gym, ping-pong, pickleball, tennis with Court 16, team sports, chess, coding, Studio Art, La Cuisine de Judy, Cooking with Emilie, and language classes (Arabic, Italian, Mandarin, Spanish, Russian), and KidzArchitects — we’re also thrilled to introduce 43 brand-new activities, representing 39% of our overall offer! From Graffiti Writers to an exciting new collaboration with Yang Taekwondo for Intermediate & Advanced classes in their Dojo for 4th to 8th graders, from Japanese Origamis with Yuna to Écrivains en Herbe with Judy, from Mini Animators to De Fil en Aiguille (sewing)… and more — there’s truly something for every child’s curiosity and creativity.
We’re delighted to welcome Guillaume, a French tabletop role-playing enthusiast, who will lead a Jeux de Rôle activity in French at our Elementary & Middle School building. And that’s not all — Food Detective, Kidpreneur x Frenchfounders, Story Time Chess for Nursery Students, and many other surprises await!
Fees depend on the activity and on the number of activities a student is enrolled in per day.
